Meet Coonhound Custom Crafting. Rick and Leslie are the heart and soul of CCC, but the inspiration for the company name is definitely their two coonhounds RD and Tango Molly. These two pups are a major part of their owner's lives. Rick and Leslie make their professional living in the medical field however, they share a passion for creative woodworks. After years of making home decor pieces for themselves, others soon noticed, and the couple began to make artisan crafts as gifts, and all the while, harvesting encouragement from their family and friends. Having accumulated copious amounts of tools and a little woodworking knowledge over the years, the decision to start a "side hustle" was easy. "We have complimentary creativity. I'll have an idea and run with it and then something happens, and I get lost. I feel like the piece is bound for the scrapheap. But then Leslie comes over and makes a little magic and BOOM!!  Next thing you know is Bob's your Aunt Sally and we can't make'em fast enough! 

And they say that is literally how it happens. "We'll see something we like and think... 'that gives me an idea!' and you put your own twist and creative nurturing into it and run with it. Often times, the piece takes on a life of its own and winds up completely different from what you intended.   At the end of the day, we're doing something that we love to do and that is using our creativity to create something that will eventually bring warmth and charm into someone's living space. And the pictures of our pieces displayed proudly in someone's living room, that's what gives us the juice! That pride that lets you know you imagined it, constructed it and nurtured it with love and care and somehow it is where it was meant to be all along!'"
